Victor Weiss, MD

About

Victor Weiss, MD, is a UW Health vascular surgeon who treats patients with conditions that affect the blood vessels, veins and arteries. He typically treats aneurysms (swelling in a blood vessel), blocked arteries in the heart and blood circulation issues. Dr. Weiss is a clinical associate professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

It's important to Dr. Weiss that he and his patients make treatment decisions together. He educates his patients and their families on their treatment options and listens to their thoughts and concerns. He creates individual treatment plans based on each patient’s wishes and goals, empowering them to take ownership of their care.

In addition to working with patients, Dr. Weiss trains the next generation of surgeons through several programs. He partners with pre-med undergraduate students and medical students to explore vascular surgery and other procedures.

In his free time, Dr. Weiss enjoys sports and traveling.

My hope for each patient is that they understand we're here for them, we care about them and we're going to go through this process together.
