About

Traci Gundlach, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in cardiology. She cares for people with a wide range of medical conditions involving the heart and blood vessels.

These issues include coronary artery disease (plaque buildup in the arteries), atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat), heart failure (the heart can’t pump enough blood) and valve disorders (the heart valves don’t open or close properly).

When patients visit the cardiology clinic, Traci listens to their concerns and assesses their symptoms. She talks with her patients about their goals and lifestyles. Together, they work to create effective care plans that the patients are willing to follow.

Traci believes that good patient care includes teamwork and communication with all of the patient’s other providers. She’s excited about medical advancements that allow providers to take better care of people with heart problems.

During her free time, Traci enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with her husband and their dog.

Our patients are in excellent hands. We work to help our patients feel good and live the highest possible quality of life.
