Stephanie Lovell, NP

Stephanie Lovell, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She cares for patients with bleeding and platelet disorders that cause a person to bleed easily or for too long because their blood cannot clot properly.

Stephanie wants to help people achieve their best health in a way that suits their lifestyle and make sure her patients feel heard and understood. When treating patients, she considers their past experiences and the barriers they might be facing. And by offering experienced guidance, she ensures her patients feel educated about their condition and empowered to make choices.

Stephanie works with a team of clinicians from different specialties throughout UW Health. She teaches colleagues and partner organizations how to best care for people with bleeding disorders.

As part of a team that collaborates with other bleeding disorder programs across the country, Stephanie helps collect data about common health issues and complications that people with bleeding disorders may face. She also participates in clinical studies for new treatments.
