About

Shobhina Chheda, MD, MPH, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor. She is also a professor in the Department of Medicine and the associate dean for medical education at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Chheda provides adult primary care. She diagnoses and treats chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes and depression. Dr. Chheda also cares for patients with sudden illnesses, injuries and symptoms such as skin rashes or pain.

Dr. Chheda prioritizes education and preventive care so patients can stay as healthy as possible. She specializes in women's health, understanding that it encompasses more than just reproductive concerns. She considers the complex effects of chronic illnesses and shares her expertise so her patients can make fully informed decisions.

In her free time, Dr. Chheda is an avid reader and enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, including walking trails, kayaking and scuba diving.

I enjoy building patient relationships over time. Wellness is an important part of physical health, and I am passionate about finding the ‘why’ behind problems so my patients can get and stay healthy.
