Sarah Redemann, NP

About

Sarah Redemann, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. Sarah cares for patients of every age, from newborns to seniors. She treats conditions ranging from coughs, fevers, aches and pains to diabetes, infections, fractures, and other injuries and illnesses.

Sarah offers specialized women’s health care, including reproductive health and menopause-related concerns. She focuses on wellness and disease prevention, as well as managing chronic disease. After evaluating patients, Sarah develops a treatment plan and educates patients about their condition and care. She ensures that they understand and feel comfortable with treatments and follow-up steps.

Sarah became a nurse practitioner to increase health care access. As a teen, she knew she wanted to go into health care after her father was hospitalized for a serious illness. She was amazed at the value of the nursing role in his care. It’s important to her to get to know her patients, identify priorities and guide them toward improved health and wellness.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking, running and spending time outdoors with her family.

One of the rewards of family medicine is really getting to know my patients as individuals and celebrating their successes throughout life.
