About

Sara Moldenhauer, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. Specializing in rehabilitation medicine and pain management, Sara helps patients living with chronic pain to manage their conditions.

Sara sees people for a range of long-term (chronic) issues, including post-operative pain, fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (a group of disorders that affect the body’s connective tissues) and pain stemming from various orthopedic conditions. She uses a range of treatments to relieve her patients’ discomfort, including holistic therapies, physical and occupational therapies, pain psychology and minimally invasive injections or infusions.

Dedicated to helping people get back to the activities they enjoy, Sara collaborates with her team and other colleagues  to provide high quality comprehensive care. She also educates her patients about their options to ensure that they are on the same page for treatments and therapies.

As a patient advocate, Sara understands that only the patient knows what it is like to live in their pain, and she encourages all patients to share their stories to improve their care and treatment.

Outside of the clinic, Sara stays busy teaching Barre classes.

I strive to help my patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life.
