Rebecca Behling, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. She cares for people with heart and lung conditions. Rebecca specializes in caring for patients pre- and post-heart surgery, lung surgery and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), a minimally invasive heart procedure to treat narrow heart valves. She also works with patients following aneurysms (a bulge in a blood vessel wall). Working in collaboration with surgeons and doctors, Rebecca performs patient assessments and physicals, develops treatment plans and prescribes medication. She also performs daily hospital rounds and sees patients in the office. Rebecca’s care philosophy is to provide compassionate care and treat patients in the same manner she would like someone to treat her own family members. When not caring for patients, Rebecca enjoys cooking, biking, decorating and spending time with her family. I want patients to know I am their advocate. I care about their well-being and will help them through their procedures.
