About

Olivia Dittman, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in thoracic (chest and lung) surgery. Olivia evaluates and treats patients who need surgery for conditions affecting the lungs, diaphragm and other parts of the chest. These conditions include rib malformations, lung and respiratory diseases and cancers that occur in the chest area.

Olivia works closely with surgeons and other specialists to care for patients before and after surgery. She listens to her patients’ personal concerns and goals for treatment. She encourages shared decision-making as she develops individualized care plans. Olivia provides all the information and reassurance that her patients need to feel confident in decisions about their care from diagnosis through treatment and recovery.

In her free time, Olivia enjoys gardening and doing projects around her home.

I help people get through challenging times. I help them to feel heard and make decisions that align with their goals so they can do well and thrive after surgery.
