Nnenna Nwankwo, PsyD is a UW Health licensed clinical psychologist. Her areas of clinical interests are working with adults with mood and anxiety disorders, existential issues, role transitions and losses. She helps clients cope better with life events and provides them with tools aimed at decreasing distress and improving mental health conditions. Her patient care philosophy is to create a personal therapy for each client by tailoring interventions to fit their unique needs and presentation, through a person centered, empathic and non-judgmental approach that fosters a therapeutic relationship which supports growth and change.

Dr. Nwankwo utilizes a variety of treatment approaches to include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness-Based Approaches.
