About

Michael Weber, MD, is a UW Health integrative family medicine doctor and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Weber treats patients of all ages — from newborns to senior citizens — with a wide range of chronic (long-term) and acute (sudden onset) health conditions.

As an integrative specialist, Dr. Weber offers preventive care and uses both conventional medicine and complementary practices to help his patients. His clinical interests include geriatrics (caring for older patients) and treating musculoskeletal pain with acupuncture and prolotherapy (injecting saline solution into sore joints and muscles).

Dr. Weber believes that listening is the most important part of patient care. His care philosophy is to learn what each patient wants to achieve with their health, understand their lifestyle and help them reach their goals.

In his free time, Dr. Weber enjoys running and cycling.

Learning about a patient’s fears and hopes allows me to set better goals with them.
