Michael Barnes, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health in cardiothoracic surgery. He cares for people with heart and lung disease who may need an organ transplant. He also communicates with families of potential organ donors to ensure they understand every aspect of the donation process.
Michael provides care before and after cardiothoracic (heart and chest) procedures. In addition, his team offers a full range of care for many complex conditions that can affect the heart, lungs and circulatory system.
I became a physician assistant to help those who cannot help themselves. I want to provide a better quality of life for people who can benefit from organ transplantation.
