Megan Yanny, MD

Megan Yanny, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatrician and an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Yanny provides care for newborns through late adolescence including immunizations, well-child visits, sports physicals and injuries. She also treats more complex conditions such as juvenile diabetes.

Dr. Yanny focuses on keeping her patients healthy at each phase of childhood. She talks with the families she sees about mental health, parents dealing with a newborn or kids dealing with social life and home. She wants her patients to know UW Health is a safe place where they can come for help.

Dr. Yanny’s research centers on curriculum building and medical education research. She is also working on needs assessments and survey projects.

The most rewarding part of taking care of families is seeing their excitement and how proud they are when they are talking about their kids or their family. I really love being a part of the family.
