Marylou Hagen, PA

Marylou Hagen, PA, is a UW Health plastic surgery physician assistant.

Marylou cares for adults and children who need reconstructive surgery to correct their appearance or restore function after suffering medical conditions or injuries. These procedures include breast reconstruction, post-cancer facial reconstruction and gynecologic reconstruction.

Marylou’s special interest is helping patients who need reconstruction after breast and skin cancer.

During initial visits, Marylou takes time to get to know her patients and listens to their concerns. She talks through the surgeon’s recommendation, outlines treatment options and encourages each person to take an active role in making decisions about their care. To help ease her patients’ anxieties, she invites them to call her at any time and ask questions before or after their surgeries.

Her goal is to help patients recover well after surgery and live normal, productive lives.

During her free time, Marylou enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

We help patients feel better, function well and feel comfortable with how they look.
