About

Lynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in both community and clinical settings. She holds a Substance Abuse specialty, which allows her to provide services for persons with a dual diagnosis (both a mental health and a substance use disorder).  She earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling at UW-Whitewater in 2005.  She enjoys working with adults from all cultural backgrounds, as well as LGBTQIA+, and is sensitive when exploring differences in culture.  She is now a Transgender Healthcare Dignity Model Certified provider and a member of the Association for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexulal and Transgender Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC). Lynn has spent the past fifteen years providing counseling services for people having a wide spectrum of symptoms including anxiety, depression (as well as depressive disorder with peripartum onset, also known as post-partum depression), PTSD, obsessive compulsive disorder and substance use. Lynn has training and experience in providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), problem solving treatment (PST), motivational interviewing (MI), interpersonal therapy (IPT) and behavioral activation (BA).
