About

Liz Chumanov, DPT, has a doctorate in physical therapy and is a UW Health physical therapist. She treats patients of all ages with sports-related injuries.

Liz has a clinical interest in treating runners and cyclists. She uses technology to determine the appropriate time to return to sport. She also has a special interest in helping women return to running following childbirth and treating sports-related concussions.

In addition to her work with patients, Liz serves as program manager for the sports movement room, where both 2D and 3D movement patterns are evaluated. She is then able to compile information collected from patient movement tests and use it to guide recovery for patients with similar injuries.

In her free time, Liz enjoys gardening, running and mountain biking.
