About

Laura Bozzuto, MD, is a UW Health obstetrician and gyencologist and surgical oncologist who is also an assistant professor in the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Bozzuto provides medical and surgical treatment for a range of women’s health conditions.

Dr. Bozzuto cares for women  in all stages of life, from menarche (first period) through menopause and beyond. She treats a range of conditions such as heavy or missed periods, fibroids, fertility issues and concerns related to menopause. Dr. Bozzuto also provides prenatal care for pregnant patients and performs breast surgical procedures for patients with breast cancer and other breast conditions.

She has a special clinical interest in menopause, including the perimenopause phase and menopause-related health issues. Dr. Bozzuto believes in patient-centered care. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal level and always begins care by asking patients about their concerns and health goals. She then partners with them to develop care plans to meet their needs.

Her current research focuses on young breast cancer patients and the gynecologic impacts of their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Bozzuto enjoys traveling and skiing.

I love partnering with each patient to come up with an effective treatment plan that we both feel comfortable with.
