Dr. Bellaire is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in general pediatric orthopaedic care and pediatric spinal deformity. She completed her undergraduate degree at Yale University, followed by medical school and orthopaedic surgery residency at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Bellaire’s clinical interests include the operative and non-operative treatment of all pediatric orthopaedic diagnoses including but not limited to scoliosis, kyphosis, pediatric fractures, upper and lower extremity angular deformities and deficiencies, and neuromuscular conditions. Her research has largely focused on perioperative optimization of patients undergoing scoliosis surgery and clinical outcomes and complications following spinal fusion. She has conducted studies at institutions across the country in conjunction with the Growing Spine Study Group and the Children’s Spine Study Group, and she is an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America.
