Kristi Batchelor, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. She treats adults with a wide range of skin conditions including, but not limited to, skin cancer, acne/rosacea, psoriasis and eczema. Kristi specializes in skin cancer screening, prevention, and treatment. She is passionate about caring for all patients, including those who take immunosuppressive medications, which put them at a higher risk of developing skin cancer; in particular, squamous cell carcinoma. Other skin conditions she treats include actinic keratoses (precancerous lesions caused by the sun), hidradenitis suppurativa (painful lumps under the skin), hyperhidrosis (excess sweating) and gynecologic skin disorders. Kristi listens to her patients and develops a care plan with them as a team. She recognizes that treatments are specific to the individual and that each patient has unique goals and desired outcomes. In addition to her clinical role, Kristi is a clinical adjunct assistant professor with the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in the medical field. Outside of the clinic, Kristi enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with her family. A few of her favorite activities include biking, hiking, gardening and cooking. I believe in active listening, learning about the whole person and working with them to achieve their skin care goals.
