About

Kristen Panther, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. Kristen cares for adults of all ages and treats both acute and chronic illness. She specializes in women’s health, including contraception, conception and pregnancy planning, menopause and disease management and prevention.

Kristen is passionate about disease prevention. She enjoys teaching patients how they can choose positive lifestyle behaviors to reduce the risk of chronic disease and increase their overall well-being.

Kristin regularly cares for patients who have diabetes, hypertension and obesity through medication management and nutrition and lifestyle adjustments. She believes it’s critical to listen to each patient’s concerns and talk about their lifestyle habits into create manageable health goals and actionable plans.

For Kristen, the most rewarding part of her job is having the privilege to work with people over the long term — as they grow up, have children and grandchildren and retire.

During free time, Kristen enjoys biking, hiking and camping with her family. Their goal is to visit every U.S. national park.
