Kjersten Busse, NP

Kjersten L. Busse, NP, is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. With more than 20 years of experience providing cardiovascular care, Kjersten treats patients who have, or who are at risk of developing, heart disease. She has a special interest in preventing cardiovascular conditions and managing high cholesterol and high blood pressure.

Kjersten enjoys building personal connections with her patients — finding out what matters most to them, what lifestyle changes they feel ready to make and what goals they have for care. She then educates them about their conditions and treatment options so they can partner to make good healthcare decisions.

Outside of work, Kjersten loves being outdoors, especially to hike and run. She also enjoys watching movies, reading and spending time with friends and family.

I hope my patients feel like they've been heard, that they have a comfortable plan, and that they have been involved in their care.
