About

Kimberly Williams, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner who specializes in orthopedic care.

With advanced training, Kimberly cares for patients who are in the hospital for acute orthopedic concerns such as injuries, infections and postoperative recovery related to bones, joints and muscles. She is part of a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals who have a shared goal of providing the most comprehensive, efficient and cost-effective care to patients.

In her role, Kimberly interprets diagnostic studies, enacts action plans and manages patient care. She also educates patients and their families about their condition, possible complications, and the care plan while in the hospital and after discharge. By empowering patients through education, she encourages them to participate in decisions about their care.

Kimberly participates in quality improvement projects as well as research and educational opportunities for residents, nursing students and medical students.

It’s my goal to ensure patients receive the best possible care through shared decision-making, respect and compassion.
