Kenneth Mack, MD

About

Kenneth Mack, MD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric neurologist and a clinical professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He cares for children, adolescents and young adults with headache disorders.

Dr. Mack is an internationally renowned pediatric headache specialist with more than four decades of experience. He uses a range of therapies to treat common and complex headaches and specializes in migraines.

Dr. Mack enjoys helping children feel better. He takes time to listen to their concerns and personalizes care to meet their needs and goals. He uses age-appropriate language to explain treatment options and involves both patients and families in the decision-making process. Because there are typically multiple treatment options to consider, Dr. Mack provides details for each and offers suggestions based on his experience and expertise. But ultimately, he believes care decisions are in the hands of his patients and their families.

Outside of work, Dr. Mack enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and exploring Madison.

It’s rewarding to see my young patients improve over time and grow up — hopefully as headache-free young adults.
