About

Kayla Sukup, PT, is a UW Health physical therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. Specializing in spine and orthopedic physical therapy, Kayla treats patients with a range of orthopedic (bone, muscle, joint and spine) injuries and disorders. She also provides therapy for cancer patients experiencing lymphedema (build-up of fluid that causes swelling, stiffness and discomfort) as well as other treatment side effects (fatigue, peripheral neuropathy, deconditioning, etc.).

As a trained lymphedema therapist, Kayla offers targeted physical therapies to reduce swollen tissues in the arms and hands, upper body, lower extremities (feet, ankles and legs), and head and neck.

Kayla takes a personalized, patient-centered approach to care. She uses a combination of hands-on and exercise-based treatments to help patients strengthen muscles, build or restore lost skills, and achieve their personal health goals. She works one-on-one with patients to improve their ability to move more easily and perform everyday functions more effectively.

I love helping patients feel their best and get back to doing the things that are important to them.
