Kathleen Schildroth, MD, is an ophthalmologist  at UW Health and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. She diagnoses and treats people with eye disorders and vision problems, specializing in retinal, vitreous and macular diseases.  

Dr. Schildroth treats retinal detachment, retinal vascular disease, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and ocular trauma. Using advanced techniques, she performs vitreoretinal surgery and other surgical and nonsurgical procedures.  

Her goal is to help people see clearly and maintain the best possible eye health.
