Karol Huenerberg, NP is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. She provides care at both the UW Health Breast Center and UW Health Carbone Cancer Center and is a member of the Department of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in caring for patients who have completed radiation therapy as part of their breast or prostate cancer treatment plan and takes part in clinical research for both. As a compassionate advocate for her patients, Karol strives to actively involve people in their healthcare by developing trusting relationships. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner by the Oncology Nursing Society.  

When she is not working, Karol enjoys spending time outdoors and reading historical fiction and nonfiction.
