About

Dr Karen Pletta, MD, FAAP offers a compassionate and dedicated approach to pediatric care. From birth through young adulthood, she provides comprehensive care, forming strong connections with families over time.

She conducts thorough well-child visits and takes time to listen carefully to her patients and parents when addressing common pediatric concerns from ear infections and injuries to management of issues such as asthma, eczema and ADHD. She works together with families and patients to discuss issues, answer questions and develop personalized care plans. Dr. Pletta’s holistic approach is to promote both physical and mental well-being for every child.

In addition to clinical care, Dr. Pletta is a professor of pediatrics collaborating for primary care pediatric research, and she is the pediatric quality director facilitating programs to promote best health outcomes for children and adolescents.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Pletta enjoys running, attending local community events and travelling with her family.

I enjoy working together as a team with families and children for pediatric care to foster happiness and long-term health.
