About

Justin Blazel, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner. Justin specializes in caring for patients who have undergone kidney transplantation and those who have chronic kidney disease following other solid organ transplants.

Because his goal is to improve the quality of life for all his patients, Justin also assists with immunosuppressive medications and helps patients manage chronic health issues such as high blood pressure, diabetes and heart disease.

Justin’s patient care philosophy is to educate, motivate and remove as many barriers as possible to help patients make informed decisions. He believes patients can be empowered to take an active role in their own health care and quality of life through open communication, education and shared decision-making.

In his free time, Justin is a proud University of Wisconsin-Madison alumnus and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking and most any activity that connects him to nature.

My goal is to improve the quality of life for those who have undergone kidney and other solid organ transplants.
