About

Johanna Streyle, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor and an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.

Dr. Streyle provides care to patients over the age of 18  with various illnesses and injuries. She also diagnoses and treats patients with conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes and other acute (sudden) or chronic (persistent) conditions.

Dr. Streyle performs routine physical exams and screening for cancer and other diseases. She also helps people with mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression.

By establishing one-to-one relationships with patients over time, Dr. Streyle provides preventive and comprehensive care. She partners with individuals, offering information and guidance to involve them in treatment decisions and help them achieve their health and wellness goals. Dr. Streyle serves as a central point of contact, helping patients navigate sometimes complicated health care processes.

In her free time, Dr. Streyle enjoys hiking, camping, biking and other outdoor activities. She also enjoys playing the oboe.

It’s exciting to learn about new research and other changes I can share with patients to make their lives better. I’m a partner and guide in their decisions and care.
