About

Joanne Rash, PA, is a physician assistant at UW Health. Joanne cares for patients with gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, fallopian tube cancer, cervical cancer, vulvar cancer and vaginal cancer.

Joanne is passionate about cancer survivorship — helping women return to their normal life activities and joys after going through cancer treatment. Through her work in the Women’s Integrative Sexual Health (WISH) Clinic, she helps patients reclaim their sexual health after they’ve undergone cancer treatment. In addition, Joanne participates in quality-of-life research.

Outside of the clinic, Joanne enjoys spending time with her kids, being outside, hiking, listening to music, gardening, traveling and volunteering with a local community theater group.

I enjoy walking alongside my patients. This could be during a cancer follow-up visit, at times of difficult decisions or during end-of-life care. It is a privilege to be part of the care team that surrounds and supports a patient during her cancer journey.
