Jessica Baker, MD

Jessica Baker, MD, is a neurologist at UW Health and an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She specializes in movement disorders and other serious neurological conditions.

In her practice, Dr. Baker treats movement disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, tremors, dystonia, ataxia and drug-induced movement disorders. She also cares for patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (L ALS) and other severe neurological illnesses.

Dr. Baker’s approach to care focuses on collaboration with other specialties and clinicians, communication and patient-centered treatment. By working with patients to mutually decide on care plans that represent their personal goals, she strives to maximize each patient’s quality of life.

Dr. Baker conducts research on the medical and surgical management of Parkinson’s disease and the importance of patient-provider communication in neuro-palliative care.

In her free time, Dr. Baker enjoys spending time outdoors and trying to keep up with her toddler.
