About

Jason Dambach, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor and clinical associate professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Dambach is also a clinical informaticist. He helps other providers get access to the tools and resources needed to provide the best patient care possible.

Dr. Dambach cares for patients ages 18 and older. He diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions and manages chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity. He also performs wellness checks, provides preventive care and assists patients with opioid and alcohol dependencies. When needed, Dr. Dambach helps coordinate care with specialists.

Dr. Dambach enjoys building relationships with his patients — learning about their lives and what’s important to them. He takes time to listen to their experiences and concerns and works to educate them about their conditions and treatment options. He believes that listening and shared decision-making is essential for the best outcomes and encourages patients to make informed decisions about their care.

Outside of work, Dr. Dambach enjoys spending time with his children and looks forward to teaching them to snorkel and sail.

My job is to empower patients to take care of themselves.
