Jane Seliger, NP

Jane Seliger is a nurse practitioner at UW Health. She helps patients prepare for eye surgery by educating them about their procedures and performing pre-surgery physicals.

Jane knew from an early age that she wanted to become a nurse. She took time to explore health care careers before deciding to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.

Family is important to Jane. She’s a grandmother who views that role as her second job. It’s a love of family that drives her to treat each patient like a family member. She works hard to build trust and provide a level of care that she’d want for herself or a loved one.

I'm most excited by the fact that I'm able to see different patients every day who have different personalities and different medical conditions. I'm always learning things from both my patients and from the people that I work with.
