Elizabeth (Betsy) Trowbridge, MD, is a UW Health internal medicine doctor. She’s also a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Trowbridge provides primary care services for adults. She offers screening, diagnosis and treatment for various conditions. These range from cold and flu viruses to diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity and heart failure. She also evaluates and treats mental health concerns such as depression or anxiety.
Dr. Trowbridge specializes in women’s health and caring for people with multiple diseases. She develops treatment plans to fit changing goals and care needs. She helps aging patients and others navigate the health care system.
With a focus on preventive care, Dr. Trowbridge strives to keep people healthy. She offers seamless care over time so people can enjoy happy and healthy lives. It is Dr. Trowbridge’s honor and privilege to care for her patients.
In addition to clinical care, Dr. Trowbridge conducts scientific research to improve health care delivery.
In her free time, Dr. Trowbridge enjoys gardening, nurturing perennial flowers and visiting national parks. She loves animals, especially her own cats and dogs.
