Edward Lawrence, MD, is a UW Health radiologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He offers imaging and interventional therapies for patients with pelvic and abdominal (chest and belly) concerns.

Dr. Lawrence conducts diagnostic imaging procedures to identify and treat pelvic and abdominal conditions. These conditions may affect the stomach, pancreas, intestines, liver and gallbladder. He also uses scans, such as X-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds, to guide minimally invasive procedures.

Dedicated to providing cutting-edge care, Dr. Lawrence strives to bring innovative treatment opportunities to his patients. Using advanced diagnostic tools and patient-centered care, he helps people achieve positive results.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lawrence studies how to make patient care better and researches new ways to diagnose prostate cancer using advanced imaging. He also trains the next generation of medical professionals.

Outside of work, Dr. Lawrence enjoys spending time with his family, as well as biking and running around Wisconsin’s lakes and the UW arboretum.
