About

Denise Rosby, LPC is a licensed therapist at UW Health. She provides a wide range of mental health services to patients of all ages, genders and backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQIA+ and BiPOC communities.

Denise works with individuals and families affected by a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, personality disorders, attachment disorders, alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) addiction, relationship and family issues, anger management and adolescent school and home life issues.

Denise utilizes multiple therapeutic methods when caring for patients. She is certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), brain spotting, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavior therapy (DBT) and many other therapeutic techniques.

As a partner to her clients, Denise helps people navigate life’s obstacles in healthy ways. She takes time to listen to her patients’ stories and learn how their experiences have impacted their views. Through collaborative care and shared decision-making, she works with clients to promote positive, lasting changes.

Outside of work, Denise enjoys reading, crafting, traveling, spending time with her human and canine family and experiencing the wonders of nature.

I empower my clients to engage in collaborative problem-solving so they can own their solution and take pride in their ability to heal.
