About

Daniela Constantinescu, MD, is an internal medicine doctor at UW Health. Dr. Constantinescu treats adults over 18 years old. She treats a wide variety of conditions, ranging from common disorders to complex diseases.

Dr. Constantinescu treats high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, high cholesterol and hyperlipidemia (high blood fat) and other chronic or acute conditions. She also treats people who have complex conditions, such as autoimmune diseases or cancer. Dr. Constantinescu offers specialized care for patients after challenging procedures such as organ transplantation and extensive or multiple surgeries.

The connection between mind and body is of special interest to Dr. Constantinescu. She helps patients to recognize and change unhealthy habits. Dr. Constantinescu educates, encourages and guides her patients toward healthier habits for long-term health and wellness.

Dr. Constantinescu chose a health care career after seeing the challenges of a close family member with a significant medical problem. That experience motivated her to help others with medical problems. She understood its impact on those going through it as well as its effects on the entire family.

In her free time, Dr. Constantinescu enjoys the outdoors and nature. She also loves reading, nurturing plants, beekeeping and scuba diving.

Participating in patients' care and getting to know and help them is a privilege. I share knowledge and guide decisions, but they are active participants in their care.
