About

Christopher Goodavish, PA, is a UW Health physician assistant specializing in cardiothoracic surgery.

Chris is part of the cardiothoracic surgical team that treats patients with a broad spectrum of conditions affecting the heart, lungs and other organs in the chest requiring surgical procedures. These procedures include coronary artery bypass graft surgery (surgery to restore blood flow to a blocked artery), heart valve repairs and replacements and endoscopic radial artery and vein harvests (a minimally invasive procedure used to collect healthy blood vessels from other parts of the body for heart bypass surgeries).

As an experienced physician assistant with advanced training, Chris also serves as team lead of cardiothoracic surgery physician assistants.

Chris is committed to providing high-quality care. He supports his patients throughout their time in the hospital, preparing them for surgery and monitoring their recovery. He strives to help patients overcome obstacles and return to doing the things they love once they leave the hospital.

I strive to provide the best possible care for all of my patients.
