Cheyenne Heidenreich, NP, is a UW Health nurse practitioner in the medical intensive care unit (ICU).  As part of the ICU team, Cheyenne cares for hospitalized patients who have life-threatening conditions such as severe infections or lung diseases.

Cheyenne provides clear, compassionate communication, advanced monitoring and personalized care for critically ill patients. She works collaboratively with other providers and staff to provide effective, evidence-based care tailored to changing conditions, treatment plans and care needs. 

Cheyenne stays actively involved in finding ways to elevate the quality of care for all patients in the ICU by keeping up to date on emerging research and being involved in councils within the hospital. She is also passionate about educating families about and caring for patients who are giving the gift of life through organ donation. 

In her free time, Cheyenne enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs and cat. She also enjoys music festivals and traveling to different countries.
