Dr. Brenda Kepler Leske is a clinical psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry. She is licensed in WI to provide both assessments and treatment to individuals as young as 3 years old through age 65 years, though her primary area of practice is pediatric psychology, working with children and families. Dr. Leske received her Psy.D. in Child Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology. She completed an APA approved doctoral internship training at Mendota Mental Health Institute and the Waisman Center, and post doctoral training at Counseling Resources and Neuropsychological Associates. Dr. Leske worked for many years in private practice in the Madison community, providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations and treatment. She specializes in treating individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, attachment/trauma disorder, developmental, learning, attention, and behavioral issues.

Dr. Leske generally utilizes a person-centered, play-based approach and cognitive-behavioral and/or mindfulness-based treatment strategies, but aspires to always ‘meet a child where they’re at.’ Dr. Leske also provides consultative psychological evaluation services for individuals within psychiatry with specific referral needs
