Blair Golden, MD, is an inpatient hospitalist at UW Health and an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine. She treats adults admitted to the hospital for a variety of medical conditions.

Dr. Golden’s clinical interest is improving patient and family engagement during the hospitalization of older adults. She believes that family input is vital to help identify and prevent delirium for her older hospitalized patients, especially those with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Her research focuses on how to best partner with older patients and their family members during hospitalization.
