About

Anne Totero, LMFT, is a behavioral health therapist at UW Health. Anne works with young adults, couples and families experiencing depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and stage-of-life stressors.

Other roles she has include being a member of the clinical review team, chair of Patient and Family Advisor Behavioral Health, member of the quality improvement committee and an approved supervisor for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Though she works with patients across the lifespan, Anne's primary age group is teens and young adults (16 to 30). With this population, she primarily counsels around perfectionism, relationship issues and failure-to-launch.

In her therapeutic practice, Anne uses human experience, development, neuroscience and humor to help her patients unlock the tools they already have within. She sees her role as a facilitator, helping people find their way back to themselves and propel themselves forward.

Outside of work, Anne hosts a podcast and enjoys writing poetry, listening to music, gaming, crafting and spending time with her loved ones.
