Allison practices both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy at East Madison Hospital. In the outpatient setting, she specializes in treatment of orthopedic conditions of the extremities through a combination individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, patient education and development of individualized home programs. In the inpatient setting, Allison facilitates safe discharge from the hospital through functional mobility training, education and therapeutic exercise for patients undergoing total joint replacement, spinal surgery and other medical/surgical admissions. Special interests include post-operative rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques to address musculoskeletal impairments, functional strength training, vestibular rehabilitation and adolescent sports rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology-Exercise Science and minor in Psychology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
