Pediatric Pathways: Letter From the Editor

American Family Children's Hospital pediatrician Michelle KellyDear Colleagues,

Welcome to the premier issue of the redesigned Pediatric Pathways from American Family Children's Hospital, now offering evidence-based articles with CME credit electronically.

Thank you for those who completed the needs assessment survey from our last issue and at Seminars in Pediatrics. Based on your feedback, we have changed the content of this publication to include case-based reviews of pediatric topics relevant to your practice.

We will also provide cutting-edge research from our institution as well as information on maintenance of certification and upcoming CME programs according to your preferences. We hope to continue offering easy tools to help make your experiences with American Family Children's Hospital smooth and rewarding.

In this first issue, we present cases that focus on the workup and management of three common pediatric complaints: difficulty sleeping, irregular menses and fatigue in the setting of an increasing BMI. Each case can be read in print with the entire article as well as CME questions online.

Please contact me at mkelly@pediatrics.wisc.edu if you have any feedback on this publication or suggestions for future topics.

Sincerely,

Michelle Kelly, MD
