Support the Fight Against Cancer With a Tax Check-Off
It's tax season again and Wisconsinites can support cancer research simply by checking a box on their tax forms.
Check the Box
Wisconsin state tax forms include a check box where taxpayers are able to designate any amount to support cancer research. That amount is either subtracted from their refunds or added to their state taxes.
All funds raised through the state tax check-off program are distributed evenly between the state's two medical colleges. The UW Carbone Cancer Center, as part of the UW School of Medicine and Public Health will directly benefit from the check-off program.
While filling out and filing tax forms are never easy, supporting cancer research is as simple as checking a box!
