It's a Race and a Hunt
Looking for a good way to have good fun with a bunch of good people? Goodness! Why not grab some friends and sign-up for the third annual "Race for Life" scavenger hunt?
The scavenger hunt is a celebration of National Donate Life Month, and is sponsored by North Central Wisconsin Donate Life and Partners in Planning.
A wacky combination of "The Amazing Race" and a scavenger hunt, the event will be held on Saturday April 18, at The Rose Garden in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Registration begins at 1pm and the race will be held from 2:00-6:00pm. Dinner, an awards presentation and dance will follow.
All proceeds will be used to promote organ donation awareness and sponsor programs designed to help organ donors and transplant recipients and their caregivers.
Registration is $50 and pre-registration is highly suggested. Teams of four to eight people will be allowed. The winner of the scavenger hunt will receive $500. A silent auction and raffles will take place as well; and participants can enter to win a 50" flat screen TV.
