Alignment yoga is a branch of Hatha yoga that combines Iyengar yoga’s focus on proper alignment of poses, Asthanga yoga’s pairing of fluid movement with breath and our current knowledge of healthy movement patterns.
Alignment yoga will help you learn what healthy alignment is for your individual body in each of the poses. The yoga poses will help you find and release your inner muscle tensions to allow you to achieve better body alignment, core strength and efficient movement patterns. In this harmony of inner and outer alignment, you will increase your level of fitness, confidence in movement, physical ease and relaxation.
