Unlike fad diets that can be difficult to incorporate into real life, the 10-week DIET FREE program includes eight healthy lifestyle habits that, over time, can really improve your health and fitness level. Whether you want to lose weight, improve your energy, lower your cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure, or simply have optimum health, adopting these eight habits – one at a time - will change your life!
The 10-week DIET FREE program provides guidance and support for physical activity, healthy eating and strategies for maintaining your progress. Each week, you will focus on one DIET FREE habit starting with "D" - drink water ... and think before you drink anything else. The program also cleverly includes a specific exercise focus each week.
DIET FREE is offered online through DIETFREE.com. All participants receive a lifestyle program kit and exclusive access to a members-only site for video weekly seminars, mid-week support tips, a community message board, recipes, places to track progress and additional video health tips. Additionally, participants will have support from a UW Health Registered Dietitian throughout the program.
The cost of the program is $170. For more support, family members can also join with you. Additional Lifestyle Program kits are available for $50.
Unity Insurance Company, Physician Plus Insurance Corporation (PPIC) and Group Health Cooperative (GHC) insurance companies offer partial reimbursement. Please check with your insurance company for information and requirements.
