Title Pilot Study of a Web-based Symptom Cluster Assessment System

Objective The purpose of this research study is to learn about patients' ability to use a computer application(app) to share information about their cancer symptoms. People with cancer often have several symptoms that co-occur in groups. We hope that using a computer app to collect this information from patients will help us better understand the groups of symptoms that patients have, their causes, and relationships between symptoms

Key Eligibility Inclusion Criteria
  • Adult patients, aged 18 years or older
  • Diagnosis of cancer (active or in remission/cured)
  • Reporting 3 or more symptoms attributed to the cancer or effects of treatment. This may include acute or chronic effects
  • Able to read and write in English
    Exclusion Criteria
  • Cognitive or physical impairment that, in the opinion of a treating staff member, would preclude completion of study procedures, including use of a touch-pad or laptop computer
