T Cell Mutants as BioMarkers in Human Melanoma
We are trying to increase our understanding of both human melanoma and human vitiligo so that better monitoring and treatment can be developed for patients with melanoma.
You are invited to participate in a research program by donating blood for experimental
purposes. Your blood will be used in laboratory experiments to study subjects with melanoma
and/or subjects with vitiligo. This study also studies advanced melanoma patients
before and after treatment with Ipilimumab, a new treatment for that disease.
Metastatic melanoma patients (10 need to be before and after treatment with Ipilimumab).
Established diagnosis of vitiligo, with or without a current diagnosis of melanoma.
Normal control blood donors without a known diagnosis of melanoma or vitiligo.
