Title Feasibility of an Electronic Geriatric Assessment for Older Adults with Cancer

Objective The purpose of this study is to learn more about older adults with cancer and their overall health be completing a survey called a "geriatric assessment" (GA). A GA is designed to gather information about a patient's nutritional status, mental health, spiritual health, social support, and memory.

Treatment N/A

Description All study participants will complete the same activities. To complete the GA survey, you will use the iPad to answer questions about your health and in addition research staff will ask you questions about your health and you will perform a memory test and a walking test. At the end of the GA, you will also be asked to give feedback about your experience.

Completing the GA takes about 20-30 minutes. There will be no further follow up for this study after you complete the GA.

Key Eligibility
  • Age ≥ 65 years
  • Pathological documentation of any malignancy at any stage

  • Applicable Disease Sites Anal; Any Site; Bladder; Brain/Central Nervous System; Breast; Cervix; Colon and Rectum; Endocrine cancers; Esophagus; Gastrointestinal cancers, other; Genitourinary cancers, other; Head and Neck; Hematologic cancers, other; Ill-Defined Sites; Kidney; Leukemia; Liver; Lung; Lymphoma; Melanoma/Skin cancer; Multiple Myeloma; Ovary; Pancreas; Prostate; Sarcoma; Stomach; Thyroid; Unknown Sites; Uterus
